This is a consultation on the Main Issues Report (MIR) for the South Lanarkshire Minerals Local Development Plan. Consultation
runs from 15 April 2010 for 6 weeks, closing on the 28 May 2010. Your views on any part of the document would be welcome
and particularly to the specific questions asked in the text.
The MIR is the first published document in the preparation of the new Local Development Plan (LDP) for minerals development in South Lanarkshire. It is intended to be a focus for consultation and engagement before the LDP is prepared. Its preparation has already been informed by consultation, and by work to review the performance of the existing adopted Minerals Local Plan and a series of background assessments.
